GMota Bioprocess works within the scope of environmental sustainability, bringing to the market new products developed by bio-based routes (basebio).
Our products may totally or partially replace products obtained through petrochemical routes.
Bioproducts
Biomass is a renewable resource with great potential to meet the needs of environmental sustainability, being a viable alternative to fossil resources. Bioproducts such as xylitol can be obtained from the hemicellulosic fraction of sugarcane bagasse.
Biofuels
Biofuels are a potential source of renewable energy to replace fossil fuels, mainly because they have much lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sugarcane ethanol is considered the biofuel with the lowest carbon footprint in the world, with about 90% less GHG emissions when compared to gasoline.
SECOND-GENERATION ETHANOL - E2G
Second-generation ethanol (E2G) works within the scope of industrial sustainability, being a clean biofuel with high productivity that manages to increase the production cycles of agricultural crops such as sugarcane without the need to increase the planting area.
